Ladies Triples Championship 2025-26 Finalists

Men & Women

Hutt Bowling Club is inclusive for all, offering a range of bowling options for competitive as well as social players. Our two outdoor lawn greens are high quality and are available for corporate, social, casual and Mates in Bowls players as part of the Club’s strong commitment to increasing community involvement in bowls. Our season starts in September and runs through to early May with local club, and interclub competitions

2024-2025 Season Summary

Once again we had a successful  season but with many interruptions due to rain and subsequent flooding of the greens. All competitions were completed in time for the Centre Champion of Champions events although we had to change the dates sometimes. Thanks to all members for making themselves available on these alternative dates.
The New Year Pairs were again very successful with two full greens.
We also had two full greens of entries with a waiting list for the 1-10 Year Pairs. Unfortunately, this event was cancelled due to bad weather.
Our Thursday Galas were held when the weather favoured us and were enjoyed by all participants. Thanks go to Rod Mead and his team for organizing these galas.
The very popular Over 80s and 90s was held again for the enjoyment of those participating.
The Duthie Cup was played in Whanganui over two days but we left the Cup behind as Whanganui were the victors.
We continued our participation in interclub competitions with teams in Interclub, Pennants, Premier Bowls 3 5, Twilight Bowls 3 5 and the Winter Fours Interclub.
In interclub the Men’s Division 2 team won their division and are promoted to Division 1 next season.
The Women’s Division 2 team came second in their division and are also promoted to Division 1 next season.
In Pennants the Women’s Division 2 team drew with Wainuiomata for first place but lost out to Wainuiomata in the countback.
In the Champion of Champions our men’s fours team made it to the semifinal.
Congratulations to all winners and players and thank you to the members of the Match Committee for their contribution.
