We have also had success in the Wellington Twilight Bowls 3-Five competition with The Hutt Lions winning the Wellington Region competition. The team included John Forde, Peter Small, Russell Dive and Ron Scott.
We donāt have many events left before the closure on Saturday May 7th which will include a Mystery Gala.
We have two of our Thursday Galas left and on Sat 30th April the North vs South Gala. This competition is for a very old trophy that has not been played for many years. All members, regardless of membership type, are invited to play.
If you have friends or family who would like to have a go they are very welcome to join in.
We have had to cancel a few events due to Covid so we are looking to have an event to raise money for Wellington Free Ambulance on Matariki Weekend. This will be a chance to celebrate our new public holiday and raise some money in place of the Masonic Hutt Charity event we were forced to cancel.Ā Keep an eye out for confirmation of the date.
